Vistamatic is delighted to be part of the  $14.2 million construction and renovation project at Muncy Valley Hospital, PA, to improve emergency services. As part of this project we supplied: VISTA-MAX and SUPERMAX privacy glass solutions with a handle on both sides and tempered glass on both sides, and a VISTA-MAX with a handle on one side, tempered glass on one side and ½” polycarbonate on the other for patients that come into the ER but need to be moved to a more secure room.

Originally built to treat 6,000 patients per year, the Emergency department at Muncy Valley Hospital has seen an increase over the past five years from 11,000 to 16,500 patients annually. This demand has placed a strain on the hospital’s ability to offer necessary services and privacy in providing medical care. The addition of 5,500 square feet and the renovation of 11,000 existing square feet will support the dramatic increase in patient visits that the hospital has experienced.
